Moved to a new place, a guest house. Many electrical outages, frequently no running water washing (have bottled to drink) and usually no hot water. Internet is almost nonexistent - i'm in shock to be blogging - first time on www (slowwww dialup), which is down the street from where I stay, since arriving. Totally world-news free. picture posts won't be happening. Very different experience from the place we stayed the first couple days (but much cheaper, and they feed me well). Despite that, Ali is asleep on my chest, and she's healty and happy and growing (has a chest cold, ear infection, and runny poop, but it could be worse!). Mom - thanks for all the clothes andblankets and the sweet cuddle toy you sent with San. San was a great help when we first got here - she did EVERYTHING while Alemitu and I gazed at each other. Now that San is gone, we've settled into a daily routine that works well. She sleeps and eats well, and smiles alot. Sweet, sweet baby.
